Hospital Policies
At Campbellville Animal Hospital, we want every visit to be as smooth and stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet. Below are our current clinic policies regarding appointments, prescriptions, deposits, and more. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 905-854-5556.
Appointment Policy
We operate by scheduled appointments to ensure each patient receives the time and attention they deserve.
- Late Arrivals: If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to avoid disrupting the day’s schedule.
- No-Show Policy: Missed appointments without notice may result in a no-show fee. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit to rebook.
- New Clients: We may require a deposit at the time of booking your first appointment.
We appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling so we can offer the time to another patient in need.
Prescription Policy
Your pet’s health and safety are our top priorities. For prescription medications:
- Refills: Please allow 48 hours for prescription refill requests.
- Exam Requirements: For certain medications, a recent physical exam or lab work may be required before we can authorize a refill.
- External Pharmacies: We are happy to send prescriptions to trusted online pharmacies; however, please allow extra time for processing and approval.
Our team is happy to provide guidance on how and when to administer any prescribed treatments.
Deposit Policy
To ensure appointment availability and reduce no-shows, we may require a deposit in the following situations:
- For new client appointments
- For extended or specialty services, such as surgery or dental procedures
- For appointments that were previously missed without cancellation
Deposits are applied to the final invoice at the time of service. Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a full refund.
